YOUTH PIANO LESSONS
LESSONS AT THE STUDIO
Lessons are held at the 12 Note Piano Studio located near 44th street and Camelback Road in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix.
GAMES & TECHNOLOGY
With the advancements and integration of technology in almost every field, students at 12 Note Music Studio experience first hand the benefits that this modern creation brings to the music world. From playing music games, completing music exercises, recording and composing their own music, there are many ways students will utilize technology at the studio to enhance and elevate their music knowledge and piano playing abilities.
CONTINUOUS SUPPORT
Students at the studio are given the necessary tools they need to succeed at playing the piano. They are excited to go home and review the music they learned in their lessons, coming back the next week feeling confident and ready to pass off those pieces. In the case that a student needs extra support on their music while practicing at home, they can request an additional, free 5-10 minute lesson that will be done via FaceTime, Google Duo, or over the phone.
ACCELERATED PACE
While every student learns differently and at various speeds, most students enrolled in our piano lesson program learn their music 2 to 3 times faster than the average piano student in traditional lessons. This in turn helps students learn more repertoire and develop strong sight reading skills!
PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Students have a variety of performance opportunities to choose from throughout the year. These events allow students to celebrate their musical achievements with family, friends and their fellow piano peers! Learn more about these performances in the Piano Events page.
LESSON CALENDAR
Students attend weekly lessons at the studio during the academic calendar year (August-May). During the Summer Session, students continue their piano instruction through lessons, workshops, and/or camps that are offered in flexible formats as early as mid May, helping to accommodate families that may be unavailable during the summer months.
STUDENT TUITION
The annual tuition is comprised of 10 equal monthly payments of $115 plus a summer tuition payment. Aside from the instructional time that takes place during the lessons, the tuition also covers the time spent in preparation for each lesson, the selection of repertoire for students, researching and developing education materials, professional music organization dues that provide students opportunities to participate in various piano based events, and the teacher continuing education to provide students the best possible music education experience.
STUDIO FEE
An annual Studio Fee of $60 for the academic year (August-May) is required upon registration that covers the book lending library fee, incentives and rewards, individual Piano Maestro accounts, use of several online music educational programs and apps, recital costs and more!
